Thanks to Zane's awesome deal finding skills, we finally got a camera that actually makes us excited to take pictures. We were able to pool our month's allowances together and make the splurge and can say we haven't regretted it at all.

Yea for DSLR's! I suggest taking at least a beg photography class so that you know how to use the fancy dials and not just shoot in the auto ( you wont be getting your money's worth or the best pictures if you do) =)
So true that buying a DSLR doesn't make you a photographer. You need to buy Photoshop for that. Haha! So glad we're on that same anti-fauxtographer boat. And so glad you got a new fun toy!
Also, since I missed your last couple posts, i just have to tell you how gorgeous your wedding pictures are! You did an amazing job planning everything and you looked beautiful.
