Remembering the Christ in Christmas

secret: we decorated for christmas BEFORE thanksgiving. i know, ridiculous. but since we are going to be out of town for half of december, i wanted to enjoy my decorations in my home so christmas started in november for us this year.

Below are some tunes that I am loving this holiday season. Mindy Gledhill makes me happy... see some live footage of her at an in-home concert here. Zoe (of She and Him) has such a sweet voice and obviously Michael is just dreamy and romantic and makes you want to snuggle with your love by the fire. The Rat Pack simply makes me excited and want to dance around. "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear."

We are currently up in DC at my grandparents house visiting family, exploring the sites, and having a much needed vacation. Seeing as today has been designated a day of thanks, I would like to add my voice to those expressing gratitude for blessings.
